# Cancellation & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with **AR Healthy Bites**. We care about your experience and follow fair, transparent practices. Because our products are consumable/food items, there are a few special conditions for cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds. This page explains them in clear terms.

### Quick Summary
- **Cancel**: You can cancel an order **before it is packed/dispatched**.
- **Return/Replace**: Allowed **only** for issues like **damaged, leaked, expired, missing or wrong item received** and must be reported within **48 hours of delivery**.
- **Opened/Used items**: Cannot be returned due to hygiene & safety reasons.
- **Refunds**: Issued to the original payment method or as store credit, typically within **7–10 business days** after product inspection.

## 1) Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order any time **before it is packed or dispatched**. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be handled under the return policy below.

**How to request a cancellation:**
- Login to your account and use the *Orders* section to request cancellation; or
- Email us at **support@arhealthybites.com** or WhatsApp/Call **+91-7773883355** with your **Order ID**.

If you paid online and the order is successfully cancelled before dispatch, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method.

## 2) Returns & Replacements
We currently accept returns/replacements **only** if:
- Item(s) are **damaged or leaked** on arrival
- Item(s) are **expired** or **near expiry** (less than 30 days at the time of delivery, unless explicitly sold as short-dated)
- We sent the **wrong product/variant/quantity**
- There are **missing items** in the package

**Report window:** Issues must be reported within **48 hours of delivery** with clear photos/videos of the outer box, shipping label, and the affected product.

**Items not eligible for return:**
- Opened, used, or partially consumed products
- Products without original packaging, batch number or invoice
- Free gifts or promotional items
- Products purchased during clearance or marked as *non-returnable* on the product page

**Pick-up or self-ship:** Depending on your location, we may arrange a reverse pick-up. If reverse pick-up is unavailable, you may be asked to **self-ship** the item to our returns address. In such cases, we reimburse reasonable courier charges against a valid receipt.

## 3) Refunds
- **Method:** Original payment method (UPI/card/net-banking) or Store Credit/Wallet.
- **Timeline:** 7–10 business days after the returned item passes quality check. Bank processing times may vary.
- **Shipping fees:** Original shipping/COD fees (if any) are **non-refundable** unless the return is due to our error.
- **COD Orders:** Refunds for Cash on Delivery orders are issued as **Store Credit** or to a bank account via NEFT/IMPS after verification.

## 4) Exchanges
Like-for-like exchanges are possible when the issue meets the eligibility criteria above and the requested replacement is in stock. If not in stock, we will issue a refund/store credit.

## 5) Order Not Delivered
- If tracking shows **delivered** but you have not received the package, report within **48 hours** so we can raise an investigation with the courier.
- If an order is **returned to origin (RTO)** due to address issues or repeated delivery attempts, we will refund the product value after deducting two-way shipping charges.

## 6) International Orders
At present, we **do not** ship internationally. If this changes, duties and taxes (if any) will be the customer’s responsibility and shipping fees will be non-refundable.

## 7) Documentation Required
- Order ID and invoice copy
- Images/videos of the outer box, shipping label and the issue
- Unboxing video (optional but helps us fast-track damage/leakage claims)
- Bank details for COD refunds (if applicable)

## 9) Policy Notes
- All decisions regarding refunds/replacements are subject to our quality checks and fair-use policy.

- For food products, we comply with applicable regulations (e.g., FSSAI labelling & hygiene norms). For any safety concern, please discontinue use and contact us immediately.
